Here is a good article on Trustworthy Computing Security Development Lifecycle followed by Microsoft.

Tiger Woods did it again
I don’t understand a lot of Golf, but just enough to understand a good golf shot. I was at the gym today when I saw the excellent shot by Tiger Woods at the Masters in the news there. Came home and fired my news aggregator to see Robert linking to ad made by Joseph Jaffe. Nice work Joseph. Now I have that incredible and motivational shot stored on my computer for the rest of the life. I bet this home made ad will stay in my life more than many other day to day ads I see on Television again and again.
Microsoft Developer forums
Tony Soper links me to http://forums.microsoft.com/. Nice initiative by Microsoft again. I think if really well managed than it can be a huge success. Please don’t stop here, encourage all the users and other community members to come and stop by. Write about these forums everywhere like you do for Windows XP SP 2.
Yes, I can come up with many good reasons that IT Pro forums should exist as well. Yep, NNTP are good ideas, but people get lost in overwhelming NNTP groups. I will wait for IT Pro forums fire up. Yes, I am liking new http://blogs.technet.com .
Honeyd tool
Seems to be a tool worth trying for who are interesting in Honeypot project. “Honeyd is a small daemon that creates virtual hosts on a network. The hosts can be configured to run arbitrary services, and their personality can be adapted so that they appear to be running certain operating systems. Honeyd enables a single host to claim multiple addresses…”
I wish they could have something similar to this for Windows machine. Why are Microsoft community not interested in something like this?
Look forward to an updated version of Firefox
Firefox should soon be coming with version 1.0.3. Look forward to it as they might fix few more issues where the main one seems to be Javascript engine flaw. More info below.
NSW government moving to Linux based OS
The news is the NSW is moving towards Linux. Beaware Microsoft. It might be Victoria next and the rest follows.
I might as well get on Yahoo 360 now
Frank Arrigo makes a post about his new Yahoo 360 World. Well Frank if you could send me an invite, I can jump onto Yahoo website and get a preview as well. Well as for the amusing site you ask for, my site of the week is “Smack the Penguin”. I did try to comment on your blog few times, but I get a message “403 Forbidden”.
Gmail account still expanding
My Gmail account is still expanding by bit. I had an increase of 2 MB in last 6 hours. The total now is 2057 MB.
Finally getting some Google juice
Don’t know why, but my site was not listed on Google all this while. I added the URL again the other day and now it is listed on Google. So aaahhhhh comes when I think of it. Vasant moved his site to different domain, Vasanth.in from http://www.vasanthdharmaraj.com/. So helping Vasanth get some google juice. Not sure if my madness below will help you in any way :).

Unleash the power of Google, use Soople
I was pointed to Soople today. It’s good and unleashes the power of Google. Normally I won’t remember the strings to use for extracting the information from a specific source from Google, Soople puts that in user interface which makes it more faster for me. Soople has most of the search functions available on Google on the main page. It also has a separate page for Calculator (helps people like me). Check it out for yourself to see more uses of Soople. I will see for how long I keep on using it and I will report that back to you all.
