I love this kind of art work. Amazing stuff.

We can add more content to Google Home Page
Yeye.. I am happy. Now I can add more content to my Google home page and customise it. It is going to be my new news aggregator for the feeds that I want to monitor on a constant basis.
Now features like this will be making it difficult for me to move away from Google Search engine and move onto other search engines or even try them for a consistent duration. Heh, I can even bookmark other sites on Google itself now!
By the way I like the new version of Start.com :). One good reason is when I type in my name and last name, my current blog comes on the top which does’nt happen any more on Google. My current blog URL does not even show up in the first top 10 names. Yahoo is doing good too with showing my blog URL on the top or second from top.
Windows Vista stands for…
This is funny, just got an IM from a friend and he tells me that Windows Vista stands for “Virus Infections, Spam, Trojans, Adware”. We will see.
Do people just want to get noticed ?
Reading at the posts on the Internet in last one hour, I think some people are just jumping up and down to get noticed (oh, does it look like that I wrote this post to get noticed, sorry no such intention) by disagreeing. Get over it guys! Did you want a better name for future products than start making your suggestions from now (I heard that Microsoft has started to listen to the feedback and suggestions). I emailed the news about new official name to my friends and I got a email from a friend of mine living in one of the European countries (English is not their native language) and he says it might be difficult for them to pronounce as fast as English speaking people can. I like the name, it has good meaning. So instead of complaining to get noticed, ask some smart questions and you might get noticed.

OK, Let me start getting the new name into my memory. Let me bookmark http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.mspx page. Let it be “Clear Confident and Connected”. I think I will start getting myself trained on the new things in Longhorn Windows Vista now and will look forward to the first Beta in early August.
Google site ‘used by drug gang’
BBC NEWS | Technology | Google site ‘used by drug gang’
Huh! What a bad use of technology.
According to media reports, more than half of the seven million community members are from Brazil. “
I think the figures might be right. I had a blog before on Geekswithblogs.net/tpatel and I still see people responding to my post on Orkut invites and quite a few of them say that they are from Brazil.
The Business Experiment
The Business Experiment – Home
How will it work?
We will solicit business ideas for products and/or services from the registered users. We will vote on those ideas. The top two will be put to a second vote where majority rules. That’s the business we pursue.
Who will write the business plan? We will vote on that. Who will we hire? Put it to a vote. What is our marketing strategy? Vote again. That is how the business will be run.
Yes, we will hire real employees. They will keep blogs. We will podcast their meetings. At least, that is my intent for now. Those of you who think business is cool can have a sort of reality tv experience by watching what goes on as the business gets started and gets off the ground.
Only registered users can vote, but once something is decided, it will be public. What about potential competitors? Well in addition to the “wisdom of crowds,” we are also testing another concept – can the model of open-source software be applied to business? I think it can. If open source programs can compete with proprietary ones, open source businesses should be able to do the same.”
This sounds like a good idea. I have registered with this site. Let’s see how it goes.
OneNote team (Chris Pratley and Owen Braun)
Bink.nu | Channel 9 interviews Kim Cameron and the OneNote team (Chris Pratley and Owen Braun)
As I am catching up with the feeds, I just found the above link on Bink.nu. I am just watching the video as I write this. Hey Chris good to see you on the video. Ah, I had a different picture of you in my mind
.
I got to tell you but One Note is all I have used in last couple of ways. I did all my document building in One Note and just cut-copy-paste to Word Documents or Email and then forward it to where ever the document needed to go (not all use OneNote yet
). I agree that screen clipping feature is one of my favourite feature in OneNote. Robert, this is one other great video done. Keep up the good work guys.

Starwars in ASCII
This is a good time pass, although I am not a fan of Star Wars movies, I think it’s a good effort.
