Techworld.com – The sorry state of IM

 

May be it was still Sunday in other parts of the world and today my blog was totally spam free, both in comments and in referrers. I am glad even spammers take a day off.

I was at Bloglines website when they must have decided to do some plumbing on their database and thus they had a funny picture of Bloglines plumber on their website saying that they were fixing their database.

. I really like this idea much more better than just having some plain text there.

After I got Channel 9 Guy on last Thursday, he has met many new faces in just couple of days. From Friday till Sunday evening, Channel 9 guy was just too busy meeting many new people and telling them about Channel 9 website. Channel 9 Guy got to enjoy some cultural moments as well. He went to a house warming party to one of my close friend Kalpesh’s place (he works for Ericsson) and met many other Indian friends. I would have loved to take many pictures, but I was just too busy talking to everybody around and introducing my new friend. I took some pictures at the end of the show which can be found at http://www.itejas.com/gallery/Channel-9-Guy page. We had lot of fun and travelled nearly 400 Kms in 2 days. I really like the one where Channel 9 Guy visits the temple :).

Just went to Widnows update site and realised that if we prefer we can updates for Office Products as well. Just have to click on button on right hand side of the site(grr, I cannot get rid of using Internet Explorer).

Neowin links to the news from Wininfo website. As per the news Longhorn Beta 1 will be ready in late July. That is not too much time now. I better get started and learn the basics of Longhorn so can catch up on the technology when it comes around. I hope Longhorn Beta works on VMWare and yes my machines are ready to allocate more than 1 GB of RAM as well.
