Still with Firefox. Adblock rocks in Firefox, now I can block the images I don’t want rather than blocking all the ads at the firewall. Also I am having heaps of fun with different extensions in Firefox.

OK, this is an update from me about my default browser. I finally took the plunge and ticked the box to make Firefox the default browser. The one thing I want is to directly subscribe to feeds to Newsgator from Firefox, is there a work around for this? Are there any extensions available? I will give it a good go until I get something more interesting from Internet Explorer or I start facing too many problems with Firefox.

I will keep you all updated on how I am going on with Firefox. So for now I will let Internet Explorer rest a bit on my system.

Congratulations to Mark Jen as he finds a job at Plaxo. Yes now communicating with Mark is more important than ever, as I am using his Company’s main product (Plaxo). I am using more and more of MSN Search these days. MSN Search tool is still installed on my system and it’s been a long time since that is installed. Although I had a question for MSN Search team or it would be good even if others can answer this question. The question is why does MSN Search behave differently when viewed from different browsers. Below is the picture of MSN Search page taken from three different browsers. First screen shot is from Firefox, second from Internet Explorer and third from Opera.

The question is, why does the MSN Search page not render properly with Opera? I am sure they would have tested the page with different browsers before the launch. The second query is if you notice the picture, you will see that MSN Search page gives the option to make it a homepage to the users using Internet Explorer, but not to the users using Firefox and Opera; why is this? Don’t they want users using different browsers to make MSN Search the default home page?

I decided to host my own photo gallery on my domain. I could use Blogger as I use Picaso and Hello a lot, but decided that it is better if everything stays under the same domain name and under one location. I am not much of a photographer, but will put the pictures that I think are worth it from time to time.

This will also be a way to share pictures with my family and friends overseas who are not on a broadband and also having my pictures on a site will mean that I won’t have to keep on uploading the pictures via email.
